The Federal Ministry for Families, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we collect data, what data we collect and how we use that data.
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that the directives concerning data protection are observed both by us as well as by external service providers.
Personal data constitute individual details of the personal and factual circumstances of a certain or specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your real name, address, postal address and telephone number. It does not include information which is not linked to your identity (e.g. website user statistics). You can use our online offer without publishing your identity.
If you order information material, we will ask you for your name and other personal information. It is your decision to enter this data. We will save your information on particularly secure servers located in Germany. Access to this data is only given to a few specially authorised persons who are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the servers.
When you access the site, data is temporarily stored on our servers, which could allow us to identify you (for example, IP address, date, time or pages viewed). The IP address will then be made anonymous. It will not be used to identify the user, and no user or pseudonomised profiles which are related to particular individuals are created. The statistical analysis of the data records will be performed in an anonymous manner.
Passing on personal data to third parties
When you order information materials, we will only use your personal information within the Federal Ministry for Families, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and will, as necessary, only forward it to companies commissioned with processing the order. We do not provide these data to third parties without your explicit consent.
Protection of minors
No personal information will be accepted from persons under 18 years of age without the permission of the parents or guardian of the child. We do not request, collect or pass the personal data from children or youth to third parties.
